Teresa "Terri" Mitchell Tipton, 52, of 206 Laurel Ridge Way, wife of Chris Tipton, died Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Cayce, she was the daughter of Jerry Mitchell and Janice Ross Mitchell. She was formerly employed by Flexible Technologies in Abbeville. Terri was a die-hard Gamecock fan and loved her dogs. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving is her husband of the home; her father and his wife, Jerry and Linda Mitchell and her mother, Janice Mitchell, all of Greenwood; two brothers, Todd Mitchell of Greenwood and Tyler Mitchell of Lexington and her beloved lab, Tucker.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens officiated by Chaplain Ronald Warrick.
Pallbearers will be Boone Snyder, Cody Snyder, Ricky Tipton, Tony Kelley, Andrew Kelley and Trenton Kelley.
Honorary escort will be the employees of Flexible Technologies.
The family is at the home of Jerry and Linda Mitchell, 130 Hunters Village Drive in Hunters Creek, where they will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
