Clifton Terry Hughes, 67, of Greenwood, husband of Jeannie Wright Hughes, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, March 22, 2024, at his home.

Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Clifton Hughes, Jr. and Virginia Bramlett Hughes. Terry was known for his dedication as the owner of Action Glass, where his hard work and expertise in glass installation left a lasting impact. He enjoyed racing, grilling and spending time with his friends and family. His love for his family was evident in the time he spent with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, creating cherished moments that will be forever remembered.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Carruth.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Melissa Decker (Brooks), Shannon Solis (Mauro) Kristi Long (James), Matthew Wade Hughes, Ashley Hughes and Whitney Suazo; sister, Marc Hughes; grandchildren, Nicholas Long, Ethan Long, Logan Tolbert, Jordan Jackson, Hampton Hughes, Hannah Claire Hughes, Haddison Hughes, Easton Hughes, Andrew Decker, Olivia Decker, Clara Decker, Joseph Rodriquez, Jenna Hughes, Aliyana Gunter and Elijah Burroughs; great grandchildren, Kylar Rodriquez and Kora Rodriquez; and lifelong friend, Michael Anthony Williams.

Services will be held at 5pm on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Sprouse officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 3-5pm.
