Thelma Minor Westberry, 87, widow of James Norman Westberry formerly of Greenwood passed away peacefully at her daughter Dianne's home, Friday morning, September 29, 2023.

Thelma was the daughter of the late Joe M. Minor and Essie Newton Minor Harrison and preceded in death by her husband, James N. Westberry, one son, Joey Westberry, and her best friend, Paulette Bannister, who she loved traveling and spending time with.

Thelma loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and being a caregiver to all she loved. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, visiting the beach and mountains. Thelma was a very sweet lady who loved animals.

Surviving are her children: Debbie (Barry) Jacks of Abbeville, Curt (Connie) Westberry of Ninety Six, Susan Grubb of Rock Hill and Dianne (Jeff) Butler of Tega City; daughter-in-law, Debbie Westberry of Ninety Six; thirteen grandchildren, Jeremy, Julie, Jennifer, Jamey, Kasey, Brandi, Alexis, Grant, Kayla, Brittany, Ashley, Josh, and Aiden numerous greatgrandchildren, extended family and friends.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Tripp Speer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive friends from 12 pm-1 pm Sunday prior to services.

Pallbearers will be Greyson Brown, Grant Butler, Jamey Westberry, Jeremy Hallback, Tyler Conner, Jordan Westberry, Josh Westberry, and Landon Westberry. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlton McCall and Brayden Westberry.
