Theresa Ann Melton Summey, 62, of 626 Rushville Road, Bradley, wife of Bryan Summey, died Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Hospice House. Born in Chester, she was a daughter of the late Richard Pearson and Marjorie Ada Beeco Melton. She retired from Capsugel after 38 years of service. Theresa enjoyed scrapbooking at The Paper Rabbit and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Harris Baptist Church and CoEd 2. Surviving is her husband of 43 years; her daughter, Stephanie Summey of Bradley; her son, Richie Summey of Boiling Springs; her sister, Freida Melton Scott of Greenwood; her brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Delores Melton of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Andrew Gossett of Bradley and Pearson Summey of Honea Path; brother-in-law, Jimmy Corley of Greenwood and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Danny and Gayle Summey of Honea Path. Honorary escort will be The Paper Rabbit Ladies and members of the Harris Baptist Church CoEd 2. The family is at the home.
