Therrell A. Douglas, 81, of Greenwood, passed away on July 5, 2024, at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 25, 1943, in Charleston, SC, he was the son of the late Walter and Sallie Winn Douglas. Therrell was a proud Army National Guard veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War. Throughout his life, Therrell found joy in his work as a pipe fitter, his church family at South Main Baptist Church, and spending time in his workshop. He took great pride in being a dedicated provider for his loved ones.

He was twice married, first to the late Imogene Waller Douglas and second to the late Barbara Jaynes Douglas.

Surviving is a son, Gerald Douglas (Theresa) of Summerville and a sister, Teresa Douglas.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at South Main Baptist Church with the Dr. Rev. Toby Frost officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church.

Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Live Oak Memorial Gardens in Charleston, SC.
