Burrell Thomas Boatwright, III, 66, of 707 New Market Street, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at his home. Born in Edgefield, he was a son of the late B. T. Boatwright, Jr. and Sara Wood Boatwright. He retired from Solutia, where he had a record of 37 years of perfect attendance. He was a member of the Greenwood Corvette Club and East Side Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald W. Boatwright. Surviving are his special friend, Linda Brock, of the home; his sister, Norma B. Floyd; his niece, Sara Vaughn; his nephew, Neil Floyd and his great niece, Katherine Vaughn, all of Greenwood. Pallbearers will be Lester Spires, Thomas Arnold, Bobby Scott, Ron Pratt, Brent Phillips, and Neil Floyd. Honorary escort will be the members of the Greenwood Corvette Club.
