Thomas Eugene Burnett, 53, of 520 Hitching Post Road, husband of Janie Lou Lawton Burnett, died Monday, July 4, 2011 at his home. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of B. W. Burnett and the late Clara Jean Epting Burnett. He was employed by the Greenwood County Landfill and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Saluda. Surviving is his wife of the home; his father of Saluda; two daughters, Kaitlyn B. Caraman of Lexington and Angela Parker of Greenwood; three sons, Justin Eugene Burnett of Lexington, Tyrone Parker and James Parker, both of the home; his aunts, Ellen E. Shaw of Newberry and Margaret Ann Oswald and her husband, Edward, of Lexington; and six grandchildren.
