Fred A. �Thunder� Neal, Jr., 57, of 524 Hitching Post Road, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Fred Aaron Neal, Sr. and Jean Holmes Harper. He was a 1972 graduate of Greenwood High School and attended Lander College. He was employed by Finney Impression Die Corp. and was of the Pentecostal faith. Surviving are two daughters, Joanna Neal of Columbia and Shannon Neal of Greenwood; a son, Travis Neal of the US Marines; two sisters, Cindy Hutchins of Greenwood and Claudette Myers (Robert) of Walnut Cove, NC; his beloved �Pop�, Robert Harper of Greenwood; two nieces, Christina Mitchell and Casey Myers; three grandchildren; a great niece and a great nephew.
