Timothy C. Griffin, 49, of 204 Lowell Street, husband of Kimberly �Kim� Tucker Griffin died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Whitmire, SC, he is a son of Laura Gilliam Griffin and the late James W. �Jadie� Griffin. Tim worked for Sara Lee Bakery and was a member of First Baptist Church of Ninety Six. He was the former Town Councilman Ward #2 and former Mayor of Ninety Six from 2000 until 2008. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are three sons, Cory Griffin of the home, Bronson Griffin and his wife Dawn of Greer and Brandon Griffin and his wife Melissa of Ninety Six; two sisters, Anne Boiter and her husband Kevin and Tracey McBride all of Ninety Six; a brother Jimmy Griffin and his wife Sandra of Ninety Six; grandchildren, Jadie Griffin, raised in the home, Marley Griffin and Duncan Griffin; and his second mom, Helen �Hodi� Boyd. Pallbearers will be Kevin Boiter, Stacy Scott, Derrick Tucker, Daniel Tucker, Austin Tucker and Lucas Fox. Honorary escort will be the employees of Sara Lee Bakery.
