Tommy M. DeLoach, 74, of Interlachen, FL, passed away at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center on Saturday, March 9, 2013 following an extended illness. He was born in Saluda, SC and had resided in Interlachen the past 43 years, coming from Donalds, SC. Tommy was the owner-operator of DeLoachs Tractor-Dozier Works of Interlachen until his retirement in 2000. He was a lifetime member of the Interlachen Lions Club, where he served as zone chairman and past president. He was also an honorary member of the V.F.W. of Interlachen. He enjoyed traveling, old country back roads, classic country and western music and classic western movies. He enjoyed spending his summers in Maggie Valley, NC and while there he attended the Christ Worship Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Hillary DeLoach; a granddaughter, Shannon Jones and several sisters and brothers. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Lois DeLoach, of Interlachen; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Carla DeLoach of Hollister, FL and Mike and Linda DeLoach of Maggie Valley, NC; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Danny Jones, Kathy and Scooter Simms, all of Interlachen; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
