Born on April 14, 1959, in Greenville, he was a son of the late David and Helen Kelley. Tony’s passions were traveling to the beach and casting his line for bass fishing, simple pleasures that allowed him to connect with nature and find peace. These moments were often intertwined with laughter, stories, and the warmth of family presence, memories that remain etched in the hearts of all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Rusty Kelley.
Surviving are his children: Christopher Craig Kelley, Kayla Kelley Greene and her husband Jonathan, Alicia Ann-Lee Evitt and her husband Jonathan, and David Craig Kelley; three grandchildren: William Lee Evitt, Cooper Nathaniel Evitt, and Lucas Morgan Evitt; a sister, Terrie Thomas, and brother-in-law, Randy Thomas. Tony’s life was enriched by the steadfast friendship and companionship of Pam Hodges, along with her children, Amanda Overstreet and her husband Buddy, Jesse Hodges and his wife Kelsey, as well as her grandchildren Addisyn, Bentley, Maddie, and Reese, who were like family to him.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on June 2, 2026, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Overstreet, Jesse Hodges, Jonathan Greene, Julius Floyd and Tim Cone.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the service from 1:00-2:00 pm.
The Kelley family extends heartfelt gratitude to Whitney Squire, Tony’s devoted nurse, and Jennifer Parler from Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, whose compassionate care provided comfort and support during his final days.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
