Travis Steven Ray, 38, of Waterloo, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 due to injuries received in an auto accident.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Clyde Malcolm Ray III and Lori Lynn Ferqueron McKelley. He was of the Methodist faith. Travis enjoyed reading, driving, and fishing.

Surviving in addition to father, Malcolm and step-mother, Eileen of Florida and his mother, Lori and step-father, Phil of Waterloo are his brother, Keith Ray of Florida; aunts and uncles, Wendy Denio, Archie Ferqueron, Brenda Tessener, all of Greenwood, Tom Ferqueron of Virginia, Suzanne Ray, and Patricia Luttrell, both of Florida; niece, Sirena Ray of Florida; and extended family, Stephanie Helms, McKenzie Hughes, Sherri Crouch, and Heather Lovell.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde M. Ray, Jr, Laura Jeanette Ray, Archie Ray Ferqueron Sr. and Bobbie Ferqueron.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at New Life Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Bates officiating. Inurnment will be held in Florida.
