Troy Leo Gallant, 52, of Greenwood, passed away on July 31, 2026.

Born in Rumford, Maine on March 29, 1974, he was the son of Alen Comeau and Sheila Carver Cottrel.

Troy lived a life full of dedication, laughter, and creativity. A proud veteran, he served 10 years in the U.S. Navy and reached the rank of E6 before his medical retirement. He later put his leadership skills to use as a maintenance manager. He had many hobbies that brought him happiness and could often be found building complex Star Wars LEGO sets, tending to his vegetable garden that he took great pride in, and exploring the epic worlds of Skyrim, Final Fantasy, and Lord of the Rings Online. He had a quick-witted sense of humor and loved laughing with his family, whom he loved unconditionally. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Susan Bolyn Gallant; sons, Jacob Gallant, Troy C. Gallant (Miatah Jordan), and Brady Gallant (Emma Antone); father, Alen Comeau; brothers, Joseph Gallant (Michelle) and Scott Gallant (Marilin); sisters, Lisa Hutchins (Dan), Jenn Comeau, Kelly Comeau, and Heather Comeau Soucy; Mother in law, Glenda Bolyn; numerous nieces and nephews; and his two loyal Border Collies, Nix and Loki. 

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his godfather, William "Bill" Comeau; and father-in-law, Calvin Bolyn, where together in heaven, they fish, laugh, and shoot to their hearts content. 

A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
