Troy O�dell Evans, 77, of 902 Calhoun Road E, husband of Betty Ruth Lamar Evans, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home, Anderson. Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Robert Boyd and Genevieve Clinkscales Evans. He was retired from Monsanto and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post 103, Eureka Lodge A.F.M. and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is his wife of the home; a daughter, Theresa Phan of Greenwood; a son, Ricky Evans and his wife, Jill, of Easley; a sister, Martha Faye Evans of Honea Path; four brothers, Frank Evans of Belton, Theron �Leon� Evans, Jackie Evans and Jerome Evans, all of Honea Path; six grandchildren, Dianna Rehrer, Johnathan Phan, Daniel Phan, Dwight Evans, Dewey Evans and Della Evans and two great grandchildren, Katelyn Rehrer and Haliegh Rehrer. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Lloyd Evans and Ronald Boyd Evans.
