Valerie Pickell Duffie, 57, of 110 Mistletoe Way, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of Mary Frances Pickell Wolf and the late Samuel Dominick Pickell. She received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Lander University; was the Trust Administrator for Countybank; and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, Hollie Milford and Christopher Duffie, both of Greenwood; her brother, David Pickell (Sia); grandson, Triston Milford; niece, Alexis Pickell; and nephew, Devon Pickell.

Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Lighthouse Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Boling and Pastor, Dr. Robbie Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Rehoboth United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Matthews, Perry Goldman, Ken Hodges, John Cooper, Tripp Tuttle, and Thornwell Dunlap.

Honorary escort will be Gene Carter and the Countybank family.

The family will receive friends anytime after the service on Wednesday at the home of her brother, David, 1621 Bucklevel Road, Greenwood, 29649.
