Vera Ann McDaniel Howell, 65, of 400 North Emerald Road Apt J3, died Sunday, November 24, 2013, at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late Frank C. and Vera Blakely McDaniel. Vera retired from Greenwood Ear Nose and Throat and she was a member of South Main Baptist Church. Surviving is a son, Lee Howell (Jamie) of Laurens; a daughter, Tina Parks of Greenwood; three sisters, Gail M. Abercrombie of Laurens, Norma M. Lamb (Roger) of Gray Court, and Frankie M. Harris of Conway; four grandchildren, Chris Howell and Nick Howell of Laurens, and Will Parks and Kristen Parks of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Howell.
