Robert Victor Pruitt, 90, of 224 Folly Farm Road, husband of Martha Faye Bonner Pruitt, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at his home. Born in Edgefield, he was a son of the late Robert Marsh and Mary Hall Pruitt. He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Chalmers Plant and was a US Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Greenwood First Assembly of God Church. Surviving is his wife of 66 years of the home; his son, Samuel Victor "Sammy " Pruitt (Lisa); his daughter Terri Lynn Hozey (Bill), all of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Chad Pruitt (Christie) of Simpsonville, Cody Pruitt (Kayla), Jason Hozey and Bonner Hozey, all of Greenwood; and two great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Cameron Pruitt of Simpsonville. He was preceded in death by his sister, Audrey Fernandez and his brother, Clifton Pruitt. Pallbearers will be Chad Pruitt, Cody Pruitt, Jason Hozey, Bill Hozey, Watson Goldman and Charles Pruitt.
