Virginia Morris Adams, 91, of 114 Pioneer Road, Ninety Six, died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at her home.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Tison and Susie Belle Morse Morris. Virginia retired from Greenwood Mills where she worked at both Old Ninety Six Mill and Chalmers Plant and was also a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of the Moose Lodge Chapter 1654 and helped with the V. F. W. Virginia was a member of Kinard United Methodist Church and attended Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Faye Adams; two brothers, Lt. Edward Morris and Pete Morris; three sisters, Violet Wood, Carmen Riddle and Doris Ligan; and a grandchild, Jamie Adams.
Surviving are a daughter, Wanda Kay Adams of Ninety Six; a son, Thomas Adams (LaJewell) of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Joe Morris (Cheryl) of Columbia; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11am on Monday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Myra Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 10-11 am.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
