Virginia Gibson Bohannon, 88, of 528 Sample Road, widow of Charlie D. Bohannon, died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Hospice House. Born in Bessemer City, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Furnie and Eurilla Mae Carlton Gibson. Virginia was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Lawson of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Brandi Constant (Rick) of Washington State, Bryan Weaghington (Diane) of Greenwood, and Kayla Davis of Abbeville; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles F. Bohannon; a sister, Ernestine Culbertson; a brother-in-law, Woodrow Culbertson; and a brother, Carlton Gibson.
