Virginia Farr Howard, 89, of 614 Lorenzo Road, widow of Carlos R. Howard, died Thursday, February 10, 2009 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Ware Place, she was a daughter of the late Leslie Frank and Lelia Bruce Dacus Farr. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church and the Senior Sunday School Class. Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Carlton Moore of Piedmont, Mary Frances and Larry Broome of Comer, GA, Barbara and Calvin Cannon of Greenwood and Vickie and Ronnie Davenport of Fitzgerald, GA; eight grandchildren, Charlie Moore, Jennifer (Chris) Light, Christopher Broome, Travis Broome, Johnathan Cannon, Bryan (Christy) Cannon, Michael (Jennifer) Davenport and Patricia Davenport and five great grandchildren, Harrison and Adelyn Broome, Erinn Light, Emily and Chloe Cannon.
