Obituary

Virginia "Ginny" Reichardt Moseley, 59, of 141 Belle Rive Drive, Ninety Six, wife of Hugh D. Moseley, Jr., died Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Newtown, CT, she was a daughter of Gail Hickman Gregory and the late Chuck Reichardt. Ginny was a graduate of Newtown High School in Sandy Hook, CT and attended Lander College after moving to Greenwood in 1990. She was employed by R. H. Donnelley and Sprint in advertising sales and was the owner of Hampton Cottage Antiques. Ginny was a former Miss Connecticut and competed in the 1981 Miss America pageant.

Ginny enjoyed living on Lake Greenwood in the home that she and her husband built. She loved spoiling her little dogs, Rossie and Gabbie.

She is survived by her husband, Hugh, of Greenwood; her beloved son, Brice A. Moseley of Greenwood; her mother, Gail, of Ninety Six; sisters, Amy Reichardt of Hawaii, Julie Bailey and Penny Miller of Greenwood; stepchildren, Jennifer Moseley Saunders and her husband, Scott, and Dorsey Moseley; stepsister, Christine Johnson of Connecticut; nieces and nephews, Paige Bailey, Eddie Bailey, Julian Reichardt, John Luke Griffith and Kelly Griffith.

The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.
