Obituary

Sara Virginia Williams, 76, of 120 Liberty Street, widow of Bennie Ray Williams, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at her home.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Isaac "Bubba" and Katherine Hastings Kitchins. She was formerly employed by Nantex and Greenwood Mills, and was a member of First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Sherry Vines (Robert) of Greenwood, Sandy Traynham (Dan) of Hodges, and Janet Busby (Toney) of Thomson, GA; two sisters, Patricia Williams of Ninety Six and Judy Wertz (A.D.) of Saluda; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Terry Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brent Bell, Chase Traynham, Ben Timmerman, David Singleton, Gage Timmerman, Dusty Williams, and Clay Wertz.

The family will receive friends before the service on Saturday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
