Wade Clifton Evans, 85, of 407 Fawnbrook Drive, widower of Edna Bright Evans, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 30, 2012. Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Mason and Annie Rumsey Evans. He retired from the US Postal Service as a mail carrier, was a US Army Air Corp veteran of World War II and retired from the Air Force Reserves. He was a member of Calvary Chapel Greenwood. Surviving are two sons, Rev. David (Zana) Evans of Greenwood and Dan (Marie) Evans of Athens, GA and four grandchildren, Travis (Lindsay) Evans of Alpharetta, GA, Tyler (Nicole) Evans of Claremont, CA, Hannah Bright Evans of Columbia and Isaac Evans of Greenwood. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Bright Evans, and a brother, Marshall Evans.
