Wade Holloway "Boss " Wright, Jr., 60, of 228 Saco Avenue, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Wade Holloway Wright, Sr. and Clara Mae Taylor Wright. He was retired from Capsugel, served in the US Navy and was Methodist. Wade was a huge UNC fan, an avid golfer and was a Milky Way and Hershey kinda guy. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, who knew him as "Papa Bear ", and was always willing to help others in times of need. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Jennifer Wright; his daughter, Allison Wright; a sister and brother-in-law, Jeannie and Terry Hughes; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Tracy Wright; grandchildren, Dylan Wright, Dakota Wright, Darcie Wright, Kensley Ouzts and Kellar Wright, all of Greenwood; and special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pat Hall. Pallbearers will be Carson Henderson, Dylan Wright, Taylor Hall, Bubba Braswell, Matthew Hughes, Alan Wright, Terry Hughes, Jeff Minor, Michael Kemp and Demarcus Conner. The family is at the home of Alan and Jennifer Wright, 121 Winston Court West, Brentwood Hills.
