Walter F. Ellison, 77, of 194 Oakwood Drive, Waterloo, husband of Myrtis Myers Ellison, died Saturday, January 30, 2016 at his home. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Franklin and Elizabeth Holloway Ellison. Walter was a carpenter and attended Rosemont Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of 32 years of the home are daughters, Rosemary Wilkie, Denese Jones, Renee Stroud, Janice Holloway and Wendy Smith; a step daughter, Gail Vaughn; two step sons, Bobby Smith and Wendell Smith; a sister, Ruby Ellison; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
