Walter Hollis Stephenson, 73, of 1012 Ninety Six Highway, husband of Judy Hollingsworth Stephenson, died Monday, July 2, 2018 at his home.
Born in Birmingham, AL, he was a son of the late William Stephenson and Vera Davis Fife. He retired from Kemet Electronics and was a member of Cross Hill First Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Kathy Beggs (Keith) of Waterloo, Robert Stephenson of Coronaca, David Stephenson (Stephanie) of Knoxville, TN, Michael Stephenson (Dana), Terri Minor (Jeff), Brent Allen, all from Greenwood, and Stephanie Alverson (Jerry) of Hodges; four sisters, Vanessa Liveoak (Mark), Josie Hill (Mike), both of AL, Debbie Holderness (Richard) of Pelion, and Juanita Parker (Fred) of Fountain Inn; two brothers, Frankie Fife of AL and Eddie Stephenson (Teresa) of Gaston; seventeen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kayla Stephenson.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cindy Thrope officiating.
The family will receive friends before the service from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
