Obituary
Wanda Joe Lane Ouzts, 84, of Greenwood, widow of Peter Dan Ouzts, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Hospice and Pallaivate Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Walhalla, she was a daughter of the late Hazel Lane Miller. She was a graduate of Clinton High School and retired from Monsanto after thirty years of service. Wanda loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, but most of all she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a faithful member of Laurel Baptist Church, were she was a member of the Ballew-Leary Sunday School class.
She is survived by her children, Tracey Ouzts and James Ouzts (Sheryl); sister, Wretha Martin; grandchildren, Stephanie Ouzts McKinsey (Jared), Trevor Ouzts, Michael Haupfear (Andrea), and Anna Haupfear; and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Derrill Ouzts.
Family and friends are invited to drop in for a celebration of life on Saturday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Laurel Baptist Church Social Hall.
The family will be at the home of her son, James, 109 Crooked Road, Greenwood, SC 29646.
