Warren B. Hellams, 77, of 210 Lowe Avenue, Greenwood, husband of Lou Ellen Clay Hellams, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 at his home.
Born in Early County, GA, he was a son of Wyllene Scarborough Hellams and the late Robert T. Hellams. Warren served his country for 20 years in the U. S. Navy where he trained pilots on simulators and was the Alcoholism Treatment Specialist. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1971 and was a member Harris Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and his mother of Greenwood are his children, Warren B. Hellams, Jr. (Talhtia), John Hellams, Shane Bagwell (Bob) and Diane Miller (Eddie) all of Nashville, TN; a brother, Tyler (Carolyn) Hellams of Lexington; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
A private service will be held at a later date.
