Wayne Wilson Reifsnyder, 92, husband of Inez Ross Lockey Reifsnyder, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Hospice House, Greenwood, SC.

Born in Linfield, PA, he was a son of the late Harry Sylvanus and Adaline E. Shaner Reifsnyder. He worked with his family on their farm raising corn and chickens and, during his service in the US Army Air Corps during World War II, learned to pilot a plane. He used that knowledge to later become a corporate pilot for different companies. He was an avid golfer and a member of McCormick United Methodist Church.

Surviving is his wife; his son, Jeffrey W. Reifsnyder and his wife, Beth, of Schwenksville, PA; grandchildren, Meredith Ciabattoni and her husband, Dan, and Noah Reifsnyder and a great granddaughter, Ella Mae Ciabattoni.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Rapp Reifsnyder; his sister, Erma Leidenberger and a granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn Reifsnyder.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29 at McCormick United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Limerick, PA.
