William Howard Allen, 67, of Saluda, passed away on February 20, 2025, at NHC of Laurens.

Born in Orangeburg, SC, he was a son of late Harvey Lester Allen and Patricia Cook Jeffcoat. William was a graduate of Piedmont Technical College where he earned a degree in gunsmithing. He spent hours working on firearms, a hobby that reflected his meticulous nature and appreciation for craftsmanship. He was a lifetime member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. William also worked for many years as a truck driver and enjoyed traveling. He loved taking trips with his wife to the beautiful mountains of Tennessee, especially to visit Maggie Valley, where they created countless memories. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed working on them and building models.

William is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Thomas Allen; son, Matthew Allen (Breanna); brother, James Doug Allen (Wanda); and grandchildren, Owen and Gavin Allen.

A memorial service will be held by the family at Emory Church in Saluda, SC on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 3:00 PM. A visitation will take place before the service from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM.
