William L. Glenn, Jr., 74, of 302 Waters Edge Road, widower of Barbara Boyce Glenn, died Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his home.

Born in South Carolina, he was a son of the late William Leon and Juanita Patterson Glenn, Sr. He was a graduate of Clinton High School and received his BA degree in accounting and his Master's degree in auditing from the University of South Carolina. He retired from NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) and was an advisor for Piedmont Technical College, Laurens campus. He served in the US Air Force and was of the Methodist faith.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Ellis and a grandson, Ethan Glenn.

Surviving are his sons, David (Nicole) Glenn of Louisville, CO and Michael Glenn of Columbia, SC; a brother, Ronnie Glenn of Newfoundland, Canada; a brother-in-law, Rayford Ellis of Abbeville; and two granddaughters, Olivia and Lucy Glenn.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. Valerie Mireb officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
