William Connie Hasting, 84, of 109 Gervais Street, Ninety Six, widower of Easter Smallwood Hasting, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Hospice House. Born in the Cambridge Section of Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Julian and Nora Pitts Hasting. He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Ninety Six Plant, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He attended Faith Temple Holiness Church. Surviving is his daughter, Phyllis Turner (Edward) of Ninety Six; two sons, Larry Hasting (Kim) of Ninety Six and Wayne Hasting of Rosman, NC; a sister, Daisy Evans of Ninety Six; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
