William Larry Littrell, age 81, passed away on December 26, 2025. He was born on April 5, 1944, and spent most of his life in Birmingham, Alabama, a place he proudly called home.
Larry attended Ensley High School and later pursued studies in theology at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga. Throughout his life, he worked in a variety of professions, serving faithfully as a pastor, working as a truck driver, and later as a banker. He retired from Regions Bank after many years of dedicated service. No matter the role, Larry approached his work with integrity, compassion, and a servant's heart. Larry loved the Lord deeply and lived his life sharing his testimony and helping others along their spiritual journey. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Evelyn Hainey Littrell; his second wife, Claire Waters; his mother, Noula Busby Littrell; and his father, William Lafayette Littrell.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Barri Littrell Sigvertsen, and her husband, Dean; his brother, Jimmie Wayne Littrell; his nephew, Patrick Littrell; and Patrick's daughter, Brianna Littrell.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date to honor Larry's life, family, and faith.
