Martha Wilma Sorrow Brown, known by family and friends as "Winnie" was ushered in to the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and reunited in Heaven with her husband Joseph Wesley Brown and parents Daniel Washington and Mary Elizabeth Carter Sorrow on June 20, 2019 .

Winnie was a member of First Assembly of God Greenwood since the 1940's, played the piano at First Assembly of God Honea Path for 50 years, worked at the Belton Blanket Plant and BF Goodrich/Parke-Davis Glove Plant in Honea Path, and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her siblings: Emily Pruitt and Marion "Bojie" Sorrow; in-laws: Betty Brown, Earline Gaskin and Kathleen (Lee) Cannon; children: Tim (Jane) Brown and Becky Brown; grandchildren Jon Davis, Anna Allen (Michael), Scott (Jodi) Burdette, Amy (Brian) Wilson, and Rhonda (Robert) Galbreath; and great-grandchildren: Jacob, Hannah and Jamin Wilson, Chase Galbreath, Matthew and Madison Burdette, and Jadin, Eden, Everly and Ezra Allen; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Eternal Life in Christ will be held at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM on Sunday June 23, 2019 conducted by the Reverend Sam Hart of Greenwood First Assembly of God with burial to follow at the Greenwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Family members are at their respective homes.
