Obituary

Winnie Crosby Todd, 89, formerly of 222 Burnett Road, widow of Charles S. Todd, Jr., died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Hospice House.

Born in Baxley, GA, she was a daughter of the late Lucious and Gaynell Shadren Crosby. She was the owner of Romper Ranch Child Care Center and was a member of Harris Baptist Church and the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. Winnie's full time passion was her family and raising children. She loved sharing her love of cooking and crafts, and many memories were made around her kitchen table.

Surviving are seven of her nine children, Ruth T. Boyd (Larry E.), Alan Todd (Joyce), Kathy T. Darragh (Jimmy) and Sam M. Todd, all of Greenwood, David C. Todd (Pam) and Linda T. Bone, both of Abbeville, and Danny K. Todd (Lori) of Troy; two sisters, Irabeth Kidd of Calhoun Falls and Dot Mitchell of Starr; 18 grandchildren, Ruth T. Halleran (Gregory) of Cape Hatteras, NC, Chad A. Todd (Jennifer), Andrew C. Todd (Heather), Laura B. Sears (Mike), Alan D. Boyd (Kim), all of Greenwood, Christie Todd of Augusta, GA, Lisa T. Hinton (Steve), Todd Darragh (Kelly), Beth Darragh, Leigh T. Cockrell (Richard), Heather T. Moseley (Terrell) and Luke Todd (Amanda), all of Greenwood, Charles L. Boyd of Fort Wayne, IN, D. Josh Todd (Jessica) of Lexington, Brooke Goldman of Mt. Pleasant, D. Zack Todd of Troy, Nicole B. Bosko (Bobby) of Lexington and Amy Bone of Columbia; 45 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children, Charles E. Todd and Lisa Todd; daughters-in-law, Robin Todd and Betty Ann Todd; son-in-law, Tony Bone and great granddaughter, Emili Darragh.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harris Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Due West A.R.P. Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chad A. Todd, Andrew C. Todd, Charles L. Boyd, Alan D. Boyd, Todd Darragh, D. Josh Todd, D. Zack Todd and Luke Todd.

The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m.

Family members are at their respective homes.
