Patrick "Zac" William McGinn, 69, beloved husband of Kelly Sullivan McGinn, passed away, Saturday, January 24, 2026, at his home.

Born in Petoskey, MI, he was a son of the late Jack and Mary Ella (Duchaine) McGinn. Zac embarked on a grand journey early in life, exploring various states and the Caribbean, where he embraced numerous jobs that allowed him to experience the world around him. Eventually, he found his home in Greenwood, where he established McGinn Construction and Smiley's Roll-Off. His dedication and hard work in the construction industry left a lasting impact on the community he cherished. Beyond his professional endeavors, he was a master craftsman whose love for woodworking led him to create beautiful furniture that would be treasured by family and friends. His passion for classic cars was another testament to his hands-on creativity and love for all things mechanical.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, John T. McGinn.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a sister, Mary Anne Evans (Hal); nephew, Halby Evans; nieces, Alexandria Evans and Kim Coombs (Ron); several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Izzy.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
